FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Thursday brings another orange Air Pollution Watch, as light winds continue and high temperatures remain near 90 degrees. (Where did spring go?) Winds should pick up enough on Friday to prevent another orange air quality day.
Temperatures hit 89 degrees on Wednesday, and that looks to be the target for Thursday as well. Breezy south winds pick up on Friday, with more sunny skies and high temperatures edging close to 90 degrees once again.
A cold front should flirt with North Texas over the weekend. There is a very isolated storm chance to the northwest on Saturday and Sunday. Most of the area will stay dry, except for a 10 percent chance of rain far off to the northwest. The overall rain chances remain slim on Monday ? the best shot for storms at 20 percent.
Monday will see more high temperatures in the upper 80s.
